Sod Farm Awards & Associations

As a leading supplier of premium sod and grass seed for West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia, Green Horizons Turf Farm is dedicated to growing our knowledge of the natural grass industry and connecting with other sod farmers, equipment manufacturers and seed suppliers. We are a member of several prestigious sod farm associations, including Turf Producers International, Turf Producers Association, The West Virginia Nursery & Landscape Association and the Jefferson County Farm Bureau. We also enjoy sharing our knowledge and resources with the local Kearneysville community, hosting agriculture field days and welcoming agriculture teachers and garden clubs to our sod farm.

In addition to promoting sod education and community involvement, Green Horizons Turf Farms upholds a strong commitment to protecting the soil, land, water and related resources in the Shenandoah Valley. Our sod farm was recently recognized by the West Virginia Conservation Agency for our conservation practices and agronomic best management practices.
